European Defense

With growing geopolitical challenges, particularly from Russia, and changes in the transatlantic relationship, the framework for European defense is ever evolving. The pursuit of collective security and enhanced military capabilities through the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU) is changing as Europe reduces reliance on external powers. The Europe Program in Washington, D.C provides in-depth policy analysis on key issues related to European defense industrial policy and security cooperation.
